Registration & Fees
Registration Timelines Spring 2024
- Registration opens on Feb 7 and close on March 4, 2024.
- Fees: $300 Rapids Fee, $20.00 Alberta Basketball Fee
Registration Fees cover the cost of:
- Player Insurance
- General Club Expenses
Refunds
- Players withdrawing before April 19 the will have their full registration fee reimbursed minus a $50.00 administration fee.
- If there are insufficient registration numbers to run the session, a full refund will be provided.
- If a player becomes injured or ill and is not able to finish the session we will require a doctor's note. The player will be provided with a pro-rated refund.
Financial Assistance
For players that require financial assistance Rocky Rapids will provide support in the following ways.
- Canadian Tire Jump Start Program: https://jumpstart.canadiantire.ca/
- Kidsport: https://kidsportcanada.ca/alberta/
- Payment plans: Families can request a payment plan if they cannot afford the entire registration fee in one lump sum payment. Contact a board member for more information.
- Rapids Scholarship: Families are given the option to donate additional money to the club to help cover the cost of registration of players requiring financial assistance or players attending camps. The scholarships can be applied for and are limited to the number of donations received. Contact a board member for additional information.
